Professional Experience
Throughout high school and university, Mariangelica was actively involved in extracurriculars, driven by a passion for mentorship and community service. At Lehigh, she was Vice President and Secretary of Lehigh Best Buddies, a program promoting inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and participated in several other student organizations.
Professionally, she has gained broad experience in B2B product marketing, marketing communications, and cross-functional collaboration across international teams in Europe, the U.S., and Latin America. Her roles have ranged from analyzing business plans and credit risk at a community loan fund, to helping grow engagement at a hospitality brand in Italy, to contributing to marketing proposals at a major newspaper in Honduras.
Now based in Barcelona, she continues to combine strategic insight with empathy—supporting both organizations and individuals in finding their voice and positioning themselves for success.
Growing Through Service
A standout experience in Mariangelica’s journey was her involvement in the America Reads/America Counts program through Lehigh’s Community Service Office. She began as a tutor, working with elementary school children from under-resourced communities, and later became a Site Manager, leading 50 tutors and supporting 25 students at a time. This role helped her develop leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, while also teaching her how to lead with empathy. It was incredibly rewarding for her to witness the growth of both the students she served and her own development as a leader.
